If you have the early generation of the Olympus tap with the red and blue rings at the bottom of the lever handles, these valves will not be suitable.
PLEASE NOTE: Take care when removing your old valve - it is common for a chunky brass ring (the bush) to come out at the same time. If this happens and you cannot separate the two, you will need to also replace the brass bush. Please see the image below. (this picture is generic and may not match your valve exactly)
